Query Language

The text search engine allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses. For example:

radar reflectors

finds documents containing 'radar' or 'reflectors'

radar or reflectors

same as above

radar and reflectors

finds documents containing both 'radar' and 'reflectors'

radar not reflectors

finds documents containing 'radar' but not 'reflector'

(radar not reflectors) and BOAT

finds documents containing 'BOAT', plus 'radar' but not 'reflectors'

rad*

finds documents containing words starting with 'rad'
